“Eye See You…”

Funny thing about this one is that we may already have the Eye of Sauron going into place. The new X-Box One gaming console being put out by Microsoft has an HD infrared camera with a microphone attached to it in the form of Kinect 2.0 that must always be connected, can’t be completely turned off so long as the X-box is on, and must phone home at least once every 24 hours.  Microsoft, of course, is one of the companies allegedly involved in PRISM. If you weren’t put out by the privacy concerns of the thing before, imagine the Feds having direct access to the server that checks in with the X-Box in your living room or bedroom.

The Wii U’s looking a lot better now…

In other news, this hopefully marks our return to regular comics, with an expected posting schedule going back to Tuesday and Thursday since MWFS was a bit much.  We’re pacing ourselves.

Apologies and Groveling

You ever notice when you get on a roll with something, life comes along and totally derails that?  Well that’s kind of the state we’ve been in for the last few months, which is why there’s still no new comic.   With all of the things available to poke fun at the last month, it’s been incredibly difficult to be stuck unable to get them out for you too.

Several scandals with the Obama administration, new movies like the Star Trek 90210 sequel, and other random happenings, we’d love to get to them all as soon as we can, but right now Jett is recovering from a health issue , so please keep her in your thoughts as she gets better.

So our sincere apologies for no new content for so long, and please keep an eye on the comic, as we really do want to get back into a regular posting schedule so we can tell all the stories we’ve been dying to tell.

No, We’re Not Dead

Hi All,

Just wanted to throw out a brief update since we haven’t had a comic out for a little while now after that huge binge the previous week.   Unfortunately, Jett and I had an incredibly busy week last week so we’re a bit behind on cranking them out.  I’m told Jett is currently working furiously on getting one out before the chime strikes midnight her time, so hopefully by the time you see this post there will be a new one.

Also one of our prime sources of traffic, HotAir’s Green Room, was quite busy with posts from Ed Morrissey over in Rome and the folks attending CPAC, so we figured that any Hancock posts would quickly get buried.  We would like to get a permanent link at HotAir with an archive for them, so if you do like the comic and want to help out, please E-mail the folks over HotAir and ask them!  We’d really love to turn this into a paid gig so we could put aside all the things we do so that we can afford to eat, and getting TPTB at HotAir interested would go a long way towards accomplishing that goal (also clicking on our ads never hurts either.)

Other than that, we’ll resume a normal schedule just as soon as we can.
